The Cross River State Judiciary is comprised of the Civil and Criminal Department, Probate Department, Special Courts, Finance and Supplies Department, Planning Research and Statistics Department, Human Resources Department, Audit Department and Works and Transport. The rules and procedures governing the operations of the Cross River State High Court is the Cross River State High Court (Civil Procedure) Rules 2023. The Cross River State Judiciary has a rich heritage.
